National Obesity Surgery Database

The National Obesity Surgery Database is a comprehensive, user-friendly web based registration system designed to record all obesity and metabolic surgery data by surgeons inside and even outside Iran. This registration system has been developed by Minimally Invasive Surgery Research Center (MISRC) to enhance the applied and basic research on obesity and metabolic surgery. MISRC is a pioneer academic center on obesity and metabolic surgery in Iran and is affiliated to Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and is based in Rasool-e Akram Hospital. The mission of this center includes training highly experienced fellows and research on this type of surgery.
